Help Stop Spam
Let's face it...SPAM is here to stay. However, we don't have to stop fighting it. Here are a few tips to help reduce the amount of spam emails that you receive:
Be An Email Snob
Be very careful about who you give you're email address to. When ordering online, registering or subscribing to a website or just shopping locally, it's always wise to give an alternate email address. Set up a YAHOO!, Gmail or HotMail account so that you don't flood your local email client with unwanted emails.
Don't Click The Link
When you DO receive spam in your inbox, and there's an "unsubscribe" link in the email, NEVER click on the link to unsubscribe. You're much better off just deleting the email. You don't need to use this rule to unsubscribe from a LEGITIMATE site that YOU KNOW you subscribed to.
Get Some Spam Help!
There are tons of programs available to help stop the flood of spam into your inbox.
